![]() The original GTAForums thread was later reinstated, albeit locked for new comments, and with all links to stolen material removed. Messages on both sites explained that they were complying with requests from Take-Two to remove any and all copyrighted material. The next day, both GTAForums and the GTA 6 subreddit removed threads featuring the leaked content. As reported by VGC, takedown requests appeared to come from individuals with Rockstar email addresses, all but confirming that the leaks were legitimate. Later that same day, leaked videos on multiple platforms were removed at the request of Take-Two Interactive. The hacker also shared what looks to be various GTA 6 assets, and code from the game. “Here are 90 footage/clips from GTA 6,” they wrote. ![]() The leak was from a user named “teapotuberhacker” who also claimed to be the same person who hacked the ride-hailing app Uber earlier this month. The clips also seemingly confirmed some rumors about GTA 6 that were already spreading online, such as the existence of male and female protagonists. Various clips, with unfinished assets, showed off several elements of the game in development including parts of the world, gunplay, and NPC AI. The leaks quickly spread to other social media sites like Twitter and YouTube. On September 18, it became an unexpected home to leaked assets from the still-in-development Grand Theft Auto 6. GTAForums is one of the most popular online discussion boards to talk about all things Grand Theft Auto. The Leaks Begin: ‘Here are 90 Footage/clips From GTA 6’ Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive and its CEO Strauss Zelnick followed up by saying more of GTA 6 would be shared on “Rockstar’s schedule.” However, with the announcement coming from a press release with no additional materials, it seemed that GTA 6 was still early in development. While undoubtedly still popular, continuing to hype a decade-old game was wearing thin for some fans and the announcement of the next GTA game felt long overdue. “We look forward to sharing more as soon as we are ready, so please stay tuned to the Rockstar Newswire for official details.”īefore the announcement, Rockstar mainly discussed the ongoing success of Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online, both of which were receiving next-gen updates. “e are pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway,” Rockstar wrote earlier this year. But i mean god what an imagination.Rockstar officially announced the next Grand Theft Auto game on February 4, 2022, in a press release. If nothing, the original leaker eill have to respond or he's lying. I say wait this month and see what happens. Various sources are teasing this month as a possibility for a reveal. Even though Rockstar has made some questionable decisions as of recent, i do believe if any company is gonna deliver a quality game it would be them, and the features and content presented in this document would definitely get me interested in the game, especially the police character Rose, which is giving me True Crime: New York City vibes. The leaker even states that he did not compile this document himself, someone else did. This is info that the original leaker posted for the past 2 years compiled into a single document for easier viewing. ![]() Also some clarification for some of the people in here: All of the info posted on this document wasnt released at the same time. Every thing about the leak actually sounds plausible except for the soundtrack list and a few other things on here which i think was intentional by Rockstar themselves to throw us off and make us believe this leak is incorrect. I have read the entire document and I would like to throw my two cents in here. Lastly, this document claims that there will be a "hot coffee mini game," which pretty much confirms that it's fake lmfao. Like Britney Spears and Ed Sheeran on Wildstyle, which was a Hip-Hop and electro station. Most of the radio stations have weird song choices. Plus, Rockstar makes the radio stations last so they can avoid using outdated songs like this, so this further proves that this is fake. It's clear that this is supposed to be a "modern" Hip-Hop station, but it was obviously made by someone who has minimal knowledge on Hip-Hop music. Not to mention, that station also features "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, which was already featured in GTA Vice City.Īlso, Radio Broker, (which is a rock station) plays Hip-Hop music that's super outdated and a few years old. ![]() Knocc Out, despite it being an east coast Hip-Hop station. For example, The Classics plays West coast artists like Tupac and B.G. Firstly, the radio stations are all super weird. ![]()
